Learn to trap with confidence and safety in our Modern Trapping Class! Discover various trap types and how to identify animal sign. Master anchoring, baiting, and bedding traps for successful catches. With practical exercises and live trapline walks, you'll gain hands-on experience and learn how to properly skin, harvest glands, preserve meat, and process game.
Class Limit: 10 Students
Must be at least 18 years of age to attend the class.
We will provide all necessary tools and gear for you to trap.
PLEASE NOTE: You WILL need an Ohio Trappers License, obtainable online - click here (see notice below).
Dave Canterbury is now an Ohio Certified Trappers Education Instructor. You can take the Trappers Education on Thursday, and get your Trappers license on Friday.

Port-a-Pots are located approximately 400 yards from the base camp near the parking area.
Water will be available from jugs located in Base Camp. We continually check the water supply to make sure it is readily available.
We do not allow anyone to remain at camp without an instructor present
If you suffer from a medical condition that requires medication, please bring your prescribed medicines with you. If you undergo surgery or a hospital stay within 30 days of the class, DO NOT attempt this course.
