Shipped quickly. Very well built cook set. Some rough tips on the various rods but some simple filing took care of it.
I've had the old aluminum set for many years. I just got the PFM40 from SRO, it IS the best of both worlds. A great cook set, AND made from good quality Stainless Steel. I love it so much more than I did the old Aluminum set. I'm not a fan of aluminum anyway. I try to get ALL my cooking stuff in Stainless Steel. I love cooking with my new PFM40.
Going from a backpacker's pot setup the PFM40 is great. The pot is large enough to have room to cook so you don't have to cram. The handle took a bit getting use to but i got it now. I have used it over fire, alcohol stove (windscreen right side up and upside down) and with a gas stove no windscreen. It gives a good even temp for cooking not just boiling. I love the lid \ fry pan. Used a gas stove and cooked a Filet Mignon in it, it was awesome. Looking forward to the spring to get it out more.

Cookset is solid, well made, and sturdy, had to do a little modification on the stand to make the small pot fit better, have boiled water in it, but havent made it to the field yet, cant wait to get it out there.
